Students simulate the arduous, complex yet rewarding job of a schoolteacher . . . aka educator . . . criticized often for societal failures, undervalued, poorly paid and rarely appreciated! Similar to the ‘taken for granted’ job that a parent has to endure with unappreciative and never satisfied dependents! Content/Language Objectives: These will vary because several students are teaching different lessons and yes, they are responsible for creating their own lessons replete with objectives (language & content) including essential questions! Our long journey that began thirty-seven weeks ago has finally ended! The journey was rocky at times like any meaningful, healthy association but overall the positive experiences far outweigh any minor obstacles along the way!
