Today’s Agenda: Class work . . . Day 137
1st day of the 4th Quarter! . . . Take pride in yourself . . . your community/neighborhood, school, personal appearance, attitude, behavior, and take ‘ownership’ for what YOU do—everybody makes mistakes (to err is to be human)but if you do not correct your mistakes then well, like Confucius says “you’re just making another mistake.” Not good, huh?:(
QFT (1 of 8): Mayan and Aztecs civilizations practiced human sacrifice as a way of honoring their Gods and restoring balance to the universe. However, the Aztecs made more than just religious offerings to they the Gods , they also ‘struck’ terror in the hearts of the people they had conquered thus making it easier to control them . . . while simultaneously creating ‘lifelong’ enemies! Do you think that human sacrifices are an effective way to combat today’s terrorist activity? Why or why not young anthropologists? . . . 8 minutes.
